Unlock Yourself

TEDxPanteionUniversity pre-event

Curator, Aug 2017 - June 2018

Unlock Yourself was a pre-event that featured engaging workshops exclusively aimed at inspiring personal expression and fostering public engagement. The main objective was to introduce some of the topics that would be discussed in the main event of TEDxPanteionUniversity, which was titled "Elephant In The Room" and was scheduled to take place a few months later.

Our team understood that stress can present formidable challenges in our daily lives, disrupting our inner equilibrium. Therefore, we aimed to encourage a meaningful dialogue through workshops that would lead to personal growth. Through self-awareness and self-improvement initiatives, we endeavored to suggest ways of creatively managing anxiety and navigating situations that trigger it. The event's schedule included art therapy sessions, a public speaking workshop, film projections, and an all-day performance that included short monologues and dialogues touching on topics such as depression, panic attacks, obsessions, and bipolar disorder. Attendees were discharged by psychologists after the event.

Unlock Yourself, like most of TEDxPanteionUniversity's events, provided free admission, preserving its inclusive nature. The event took place on March 3, 2018, at Tzaferi 16 in Athens and was attended by more than 250 people who participated in the activities.
